The company immediately established itself in the production and marketing of coffee capsules, successfully entering the portioned coffee market segment. But our “system” concept means we can position ourselves in a unique way: years of research and development have resulted in our combined system of machines and capsules, the components of which are protected by international patents.

The first production plant was opened in Gaggio Montano (Bologna province) in 2004 and has experienced gradual growth over the years. In 2017, we opened a second factory in Capriate San Gervasio (Bergamo province).

Since 2014, Caffitaly has been working as part of a joint venture in Brazil, creating a modern and innovative production plant in the state of Minas Gerais. Only a few years later, the 3 production lines have already set a production record of 29 million capsules in a month.

Caffitaly is now a global company, marketing its “Caffitaly System” of capsules and machines in more than 70 countries around the world, as well as a wide range of compatible capsules.
